In the Construction Excellence division, we are looking for a new team member to bolster our operational support efforts in transforming the execution of offshore wind projects.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Operational Support team, you will provide vital technical assistance throughout the entire project execution process, including pre-assembly, installation, and commissioning. Your role will involve:

  • Identifying opportunities to enhance work quality and efficiency, striving for excellence.
  • Critically assessing information and generating effective solutions based on data and experience.
  • Offering technical insights derived from field experience.
  • Proactively driving initiatives to optimize project uptime.
  • Facilitating knowledge sharing across teams and projects.
  • Representing the support team in various project environments.
  • Participating in a 24/7 support rotation.
  • Assisting in the collection and analysis of data related to construction stops to ensure transparency in root cause analysis.
  • Reading hydraulic and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting.
  • Understanding PLC setups for operational efficiency.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background and experience in offshore wind installation projects, ideally with Siemens Gamesa turbines. Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in servicing and troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical equipment, particularly in high voltage or lifting operations.
  • Hands-on experience in offshore operations, especially with wind turbines.
  • Experience in conducting and leading tests on mechanical and/or electrical equipment.

Additionally, we expect you to:

  • Be willing to travel as required for project needs.
  • Be available for training in various locations.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach in a dynamic work environment.
  • Take ownership of your assigned projects.
  • Participate in the 24/7 support service rotation.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Quickly identify problems and devise feasible solutions while prioritizing safety.

A strong command of English is essential, as it is the primary language of our organization.
