Senior Risk Officer for Conduct and Sustainability

We are seeking a Senior Risk Officer to join our Conduct, Sustainability and Regulatory Risk Testing team in Danske Bank. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to delivering a robust testing framework within Conduct, Sustainability and Regulatory Risk areas.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues within Business Controls and Product Management (BCPM) at all levels, as well as key stakeholders from 1st, 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defence. Your tasks will include:
- Developing and implementing comprehensive control testing for Regulatory, Conduct, and Sustainability risks, including test scripts for key controls, test frequency, etc.
- Analysing and interpreting testing results to highlight areas of strengths and improvement for Conduct, Regulatory, and Sustainability risks across Business areas.
- Identifying opportunities for test automation for key controls and working in partnership with the teams across Controls Management.
- Supporting the escalation of test results and monitoring for Senior Management and Governing Risk Committees.
We are looking for a collaborative and self-motivated individual with 4+ years of non-financial risk management experience, ideally with particular emphasis on Conduct and/or Sustainability risk. You should have the ability to look beyond the numbers and identify the underlying risk drivers and trends, as well as proficient written communication skills to convey complex findings in a short and easily understandable manner.
Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and preferably one Nordic language. You should also bring solid experience working with stakeholders across organisational lines and be able to establish relationships with stakeholders and relevant business areas across countries in order to meet collective regulatory and risk management objectives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of non-financial risk management experience, ideally with particular emphasis on Conduct and/or Sustainability risk.
- Ability to look beyond the numbers and identify the underlying risk drivers and trends.
- Proficient written communication skills to convey complex findings in a short and easily understandable manner.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and preferably one Nordic language.
