About the Role

We are seeking an experienced project manager to join our team at ABB A/S. As a project manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to our customers, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  2. Work closely with customers, engineering consulting, contractors, and sales teams to ensure that customer needs are met.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  4. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  5. Participate in customer and factory meetings to clarify customer needs and ensure that projects are aligned with customer expectations.
  6. Manage project plans, follow-up, and coordinate activities within the factory and with customers.
  7. Secure customer approvals during project execution.
  8. Participate in Factories Acceptance Test with customers.
  9. Responsible for site installation and customer handover.
  10. Support the sales team as a technical expert.

Requirements

  • Education as an electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or similar, and at least 2 years of experience in project management/coordination.
  • Ability and motivation to deliver projects in close collaboration.
  • Calm and positive attitude, with a belief that there is always a solution.
  • Knowledge of protection relays and control systems, although deep knowledge at specialist level is not required.
  • Ability to ensure proper alignment of expectations, including clarification of tasks, and identify and minimize potential risks in a project/contract.
  • Desire and ability to proactively drive dialogue with customers and colleagues.
  • Excellent listening skills, with a focus on collaboration and knowledge sharing with respect for others' ideas.
  • Ability to think outside the box and try out new ideas.
  • Desire to learn new things.
