The Role

As a Global Solutions Manager - Subsurface, you will oversee all sales-related systems and processes while helping to coordinate various sales trainings. Your primary objective will be to provide fast support across our systems to the entire Welltec sales community worldwide whenever required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Reservoir and Subsurface (R&S), facilitating effective interaction between Welltec Completions and client R&S departments.
  • Discussing the functionality and benefits of Welltec reservoir management and control solutions to clients.
  • Exhibiting a confident, outgoing personality with strong technical acumen to build lasting client relationships.
  • Engaging with clients at multiple levels, from senior leadership to reservoir engineers, geologists, and technical advisory roles.
  • Identifying, participating in, and driving early-stage field evaluation discussions with clients, identifying opportunities where Welltec solutions can add value to individual wells or full-field developments.

Additionally, you will conduct in-house NetTool simulations to support sales opportunities, prepare comprehensive business case reports using NetTool output and Welltec Value Proposition software, and support dynamic reservoir modeling for selected opportunities.

You will also manage subsurface-related internal training for the sales team globally, coordinating and maintaining training materials.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a specialized schooling or higher education in Engineering, geology, or related fields. Minimum 10 years of experience as a reservoir engineer within a subsurface group is required, ideally a combination of operator and service provider role.

The ideal candidate should have experience working with diverse well environments and completion types, be open-minded and service-minded, eager to network with others and assist them, and possess strong interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring and developing less experienced staff.

What We Offer
