We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunication Project Manager to join our team at Semco Maritime. As a key member of our project management group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality telecommunication solutions to clients across the globe.

About the Role

As a Telecommunication Project Manager, you will work closely with our engineering and contracting teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Project Planning and Alignment: Work with the project team to plan and align expectations, ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of project objectives and timelines.
  • Quality Projects Delivery: Lead the delivery of high-quality telecommunication projects, meeting customer requirements and exceeding expectations.
  • Status Reporting: Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, focusing on project economy, quality, progress, and milestones.
  • Team and Sub-Supplier Management: Manage the project team and sub-suppliers, ensuring they adhere to corporate values and standards.
  • Technical Engineer Support: Collaborate with technical engineers to review and approve technical and qualitative methods.

Your Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will have a technical background in telecommunication, electrical instrumentation, automation, Electronic Engineering, Marine Engineering, or similar disciplines. Additionally, you will have experience in managing international technical projects from a project-based industry, preferably the offshore industry and within telecommunication systems.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in Equipment Manufacturing and Automation Solutions: Participate in equipment manufacturing and/or automation solutions projects.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Tools and Models: Familiarity with various project management tools and models, ensuring appropriate solutions for your project and team.
  • Big Picture Thinking: Ability to see the big picture, addressing finance, HSEQ, and customer requests with determination and experience.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Fluency in oral and written English, as well as effective communication skills.
