The Data Governance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the data governance framework, ensuring its seamless integration into ongoing initiatives. This position will be part of the Data Governance team within the Data & AI Governance department.
Key Responsibilities:- Operationalize Data Governance: Develop and implement a robust data governance framework across new data modalities in Novo Nordisk Development.
- Ensure Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance the data governance framework to meet evolving compliance requirements and feedback from key stakeholders.
- Support Human Data Access: Provide support for incoming inquiries regarding access to human data for secondary purposes.
- Maintain Processes: Maintain and optimize processes and policies on an ongoing basis to ensure high data utility in a responsible and ethical manner.
- Coordinate Governance Activities: Facilitate coordination between the FounData project team and Data & AI Governance, ensuring smooth communication and compliance with all requirements.
- Ensure Organizational Alignment: Foster alignment across functions and organizational levels, including senior-level management.
To be a competitive candidate, you should possess:
- Relevant Master's Degree: A Master's degree in a relevant field combined with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or project management, preferably in a pharmaceutical or technology context, consulting, or large organizations.
- Project Leadership Experience: Experience leading projects and translating business/compliance requirements into practical solutions.
- Change Management: Proven ability to drive change with significant business impact.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills to facilitate effective change management across multiple stakeholders and partners.
- GDPR Understanding: Familiarity with GDPR requirements is highly beneficial.
