Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Københavns Universitet (KU) Full time
Job Description

The Department of Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will contribute to our research efforts in materials chemistry, focusing on the use of X-ray scattering methods for characterizing atomic structure and understanding material synthesis pathways.

Your primary responsibilities will include conducting independent and creative research, analyzing data using advanced modeling techniques, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals. Additionally, you may be involved in teaching and supervising students within the Nanostructure group.

To be successful in this role, you should have a PhD degree in experimental chemistry, nanoscience, physics, or a related field, along with extensive experience in synchrotron, neutron, or XFEL experiments. Experience with total scattering and Pair Distribution Function analysis will be considered an advantage.

We offer a dynamic and international work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development. Our team values diversity, equity, and inclusion, and we strive to create a welcoming atmosphere for all employees.
