Role Description:
We are seeking a talented researcher to join our team as an Associate Professor in molecular autophagy. As a key member of our department, you will contribute to the development of our research environment and engage in high-quality research.
About the Position:
This fixed-term full-time position is available for 3 years, starting on 1 November 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including travel and moving expenses.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop your own research programme and contribute to the department's research environment
- Teach and supervise students at Bachelor's and Master's degree levels
- Secure external research funding to support your research programme
- Collaborate with other researchers and contribute to the development of new teaching activities
Requirements:
- Proven track record of research and teaching at a high international level
- Experience of securing significant research funding from national and international funding bodies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
