About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our Energy Transition department. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our knowledge of overall compressor station design.

As our new Design Manager, you will support growing client demand for studies and design of compressor stations for transmission, storage, and distribution systems. Your part will be within natural gas compression and transmission, as well as covering the growing demand for compressor stations for green gases such as H2, CO2, O2, and biogas related to our customer's sustainable transition.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our knowledge of overall compressor station design
  • Support clients with high-level cost and time estimates
  • Technical lead on medium to large projects as a key player in international green gas project teams
  • Work closely with the assigned Project Manager to ensure quality and deadlines are met
  • Interact with clients and stakeholders on technical solutions and layout advice to ensure the best solution for the clients
  • Become the focal point and mentor for compressor station design to ensure optimal and effective execution and quality
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in engineering, preferably with a Bachelor, Master, or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience with design and execution of compressor stations, as well as significant theoretical and practical knowledge of compression and considerable knowledge of compressor station components and layout.

You should also have experience working in multidisciplinary projects and strong oral and written skills in English.
