Siemen's Gamesa Renewable Energy, a global leader in energy technology, is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Technical Project Management Team Lead.

As a highly motivated Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of skilled Technical Project Managers on a global scale. They are experienced in leading complex projects with feasibilities, planning, and execution of technology developments as well as multiple workstreams in major projects pertaining to process, documentation, and tooling.

Your role will involve actively developing your team, ensuring the right competencies and skills are available now and in the future. This includes coaching, sparring, mentoring, recruiting, one-to-one dialogues, continuous feedback, competence mapping, and creating development plans for the whole team and individual members.

On a broader scale, as Team Lead, you will play a fundamental role in developing the department strategy in close cooperation with the department manager. You will also be responsible for coordinating and aligning the project portfolio & resources cross stakeholders, ensuring the forecast of projects is properly planned across the value chain.

The ideal candidate must lead from the front, being a leader for all employees they interface with. The Team Lead should work in a structured way, having high levels of trust and empowerment towards the team, as well as a finely tuned sense of diplomacy towards partnering organizations. Quality and safety are key components, so the Team Lead should live this culture and champion it towards others.

Key Requirements:

  • Promoter of a culture of safety, trust, empowerment, and ownership
  • Proven record for People Management (min. 3 years)
  • A technical background within e.g. engineering
  • Office location in Aalborg – Denmark
  • Willing to travel as needed
  • A structured approach to your work and the ability to handle simultaneous assignments
  • Energetic with follow-through attitude able to thrive in a dynamic and international environment
  • Solid communication skills
  • Excellent English skills both orally and in writing
