Postdoctoral Researcher in Innovation and Sustainability Transitions

We are seeking a highly qualified Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Department of Food and Resource Economics, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will be part of the research project Legitimacy and acceleration of Green Energy Initiatives and Transitions (LEGIT), which aims to investigate the challenges of accelerating green transitions in the Nordic countries.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research on innovation and sustainability transitions, with a focus on the Danish context
- Develop and implement research plans, including data collection and analysis
- Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals
- Contribute to the development of research publications and presentations
- Participate in teaching and supervision of students
- PhD degree in a social science discipline, with relevance for the area of innovation and transition studies
- High-level proficiency in written and spoken English
- Demonstrated experience with relevant theories and methods for studies of innovation and sustainability transitions
- Knowledge of the Danish and/or Nordic context in relation to green transitions is an advantage
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and international research environment, with opportunities for professional development and collaboration with leading researchers in the field. The position is covered by the Protocol on Job Structure, and the terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Ministry of Taxation and The Danish Confederation of Professional Associations on Academics in the State.
