Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain backend solutions using SFRA and PWAKit.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of backend functionalities with the user interface.
- Customize and configure Salesforce Commerce Cloud to meet specific business requirements.
- Implement and maintain customizations in alignment with best practices and scalability considerations.
- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and services to enhance overall e-commerce functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of various business processes.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the backend code to ensure optimal system responsiveness.
- Implement best practices for caching, database optimization, and code efficiency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the QA team to perform thorough testing of developed features.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all backend development processes, customizations, and integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of backend developments into the overall release cycle.
- Monitor and optimize deployment processes for efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud backend development.
- Proven experience with SFRA and PWAKit development.
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and other relevant technologies.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce business processes and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
