Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Leader to join our team in Copenhagen. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud-based systems that meet the needs of our growing user base.

Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery of major initiatives and balance delivery with sustainable engineering practices.
  • Define and prioritize deliverables for new products/enhanced functionality, coordinating cross-functional scoping and feasibility to support business and customer needs.
  • Manage and mitigate high-risk elements of initiatives, effectively communicate issues, risks, and dependencies with stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
  • Ensure teams have the appropriately high technical competence and aim for quality.
  • Develop and support a great team of skilled and motivated engineers, setting clear expectations via constant feedback and 1:1s practices.
  • Collaborate with the engineering leadership to engage, develop and retain talent.
  • Facilitate the advancement of team members through the creation of developmental opportunities and targeted skill enhancement via mentoring and professional coaching.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in cloud engineering, including experience with cloud services such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  • Solid background in API technologies and usage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Methodology.
  • Experience with high volume, scalable systems.
  • Experience developing and deploying Front-End (Web & Mobile) changes.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and growing your team and empowering each of them to be at their best.
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience with a focus on working with the wider business and the ability to create alignment across teams.
  • A desire to contribute to the future of Trustpilot, and the ability to make crucial technical decisions, in a pragmatic way.

  • A competitive salary of approximately $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
