Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist - Biophysical Characterization to join our team. As a member of our Biophysical Science team, you will be responsible for providing scientific knowledge and applying biophysical analyses to process-related challenges.

Your focus will be on:

  • Supporting production sites with biophysical knowledge and expertise.
  • Taking part in problem-solving and contributing to the development of a fundamental understanding of our injectable products with regards to manufacturing processes.
  • Maintaining and improving the analytical platform used in the team to ensure efficient and scientifically sound support to production sites.

You will work closely with our sister team Biophysical Lab to provide comprehensive support to our production sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A MSc in a relevant scientific discipline such as biophysics, soft matter physics, physical chemistry, bio- or nano engineering, crystallography or similar.
  • Knowledge about protein solution behavior and stability.
  • Familiarity with some of the characterization methods such as MFI, ThT fibrillation assay, Turbiscanner and/or scattering techniques such as DLS, SLS and SAXS, as well as the underlying physical principles.

If you have experience with applying biophysical analyses to process-related challenges, this is considered an advantage.
