About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Risk Management professional to join our team as Head of IT Risk Management. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our IT Risk Management team and ensuring that our IT systems and processes are aligned with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective IT risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and threats to our business.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams, senior management, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure that IT risk management is aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of IT systems, security measures, applications, and infrastructure to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and controls to reduce exposure to identified risks.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to IT risk management.
  • Lead and guide a team of IT Risk management professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Deep domain expertise and thought leadership in IT risk management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., DORA, GDPR, ISO 27001/27002, NIST, PSD2, ISO related to IT risk management and cybersecurity).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and guide a team of IT Risk management professionals.
  • Education and background: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA) preferred.
