About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at DTU Construct. The successful candidate will work on developing new methods to model the growth, evolution, and genes of buildings.
">Main Responsibilities
As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your main responsibilities will include:
">- ">
- Developing a pseudo biological modelling paradigm for buildings to simulate their growth and evolution">
- Identifying and analyzing the growth stages of buildings, including the integration of different systems">
- Studying the evolution of specific building typologies by examining existing and proposed buildings">
You will also be responsible for contributing to teaching activities, supporting the development of future research funding, leading a track in the international symposium, establishing global connections, and managing an open-source repository for experimental data.
">Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have a PhD degree (or equivalent) and possess some of the following skills:
">- ">
- Strong computational design skills, particularly in building design and simulation">
- Experience in building modelling from various disciplines, such as architecture, engineering, or environmental science">
- Knowledge of biological modelling techniques, including SBML">
- Excellent scientific experimental skills, applicable to this research">
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively through teaching and STEM/design communication">
