Data Engineer or Backend Engineer

We are a high-growth SaaS and analytics company that works predominantly in the automotive industry, where we bridge the gap between data and insights, providing our clients with the necessary tools and intelligence to make informed decisions and optimize their operations. We build automations and utilize prediction models for our prestigious clients so they can take action on data. We work with the biggest clients in the industry such as Audi, VW, Porsche, SKODA, Seat, Peugeot, Opel, Suzuki, KIA and Citroën.

We are looking to hire
two full-time Engineers
to join our growth journey and help us to continue to deliver outstanding products and services to our customers.

The Position
As a
Data Engineer or Backend Engineer
at ag analytics, you will be able to leverage your analytic skills to develop solutions to process a diverse range of data sources. You will be working in our
Engineering Department
as part of our
Data Team
, currently consisting of four Data Engineers, two Product Owners, and two Student Assistants.

Skills
The work we do is part of our core product, so you will be front and center of delivering value to the company. Depending on the skills and interests you bring, your main tasks will include:

• Building, maintaining, and optimizing Integrations to 3rd parties through ETL workflows using tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Developing R and Python scripts for data processing and analysis.
• Automating data workflows and ensuring efficient execution.
• Develop integration with 3rd party APIs to enhance our dataproducts.
• Ensuring data quality through robust testing and validation of workflows.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Improve our tech stack and architecture

About You
You have a background working as a
Data Engineer or Backend Engineer
in a relevant field. You have practical experience working with
R and Python
and are curious to know more and develop your skills within
Data Engineering and Software Engineering

Skills And Qualifications

• Experience in building ETL pipelines and workflow automation.
• Good knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python.
• 2-4 years of practical experience.
• Highly structured and committed to delivering reliable, high-quality solutions.
• Good verbal and written English skills.
• Enjoys working on dynamic and diverse data projects.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in a Scrum environment.
• Practical experience with Apache Airflow.
