The Role

As a
Financial Business Analyst Intern

, you will play a key role in shaping MMW's financial strategy and investment readiness. You'll work closely with the CEO & leadership team to strengthen our financial models, develop our valuation framework, and support investor meeting preparations and follow-ups. This role is ideal for someone passionate about startups, mental health innovation, and data-driven business growth

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning & Runway Trajectory:

maintain and build on detailed financial plans and runway projections to support funding strategy and operational decisions.
- MMW Valuation Framework:

Build and refine MMW's valuation model, integrating key business metrics, market benchmarks, and investor expectations.
- Pricing & Market Sizing:

Analyze and validate pricing models, market size assumptions, and financial scenarios to guide growth planning.
- Investor Support:

Prepare financial materials for investor meetings, including projections, key metrics, and funding narratives.
- SDG 3 Investor Mapping:

Identify and map potential investors aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (Good Health & Wellbeing).
- Financial Reporting:

Create clear dashboards and financial summaries for leadership and investor updates.

Requirements

Educational Background:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets

— financial modeling, formulas, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Canva

— ability to create professional, visually clear investor materials and financial summaries.

Additional Skills & Competencies:

• Strong financial modeling and Excel/Google Sheets proficiency.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Understanding of startup funding and valuation concepts.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights and visuals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for mental health, technology, and impact-driven ventures.

Experience (Nice to Have):

• Prior experience with early-stage startup finance or investment analysis.
• Familiarity with venture capital, grant funding, or financial forecasting tools
