BNP Paribas Personal Finance is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Copenhagen. This is a unique opportunity to work with data, analytics, and reconciliation processes that directly support our business across the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway).

You'll play a key role in developing the tools and controls that ensure accurate client reconciliations, improve data quality, and drive process efficiency. If you enjoy working with data, building smart solutions, and collaborating across teams, this could be the perfect fit for you.

We're on an exciting journey, building smarter ways of working through automation, standardization, and reconciliation frameworks. While BNP Paribas Personal Finance in the Nordics is undergoing a run-off, this role offers a permanent contract and the opportunity to make a real impact.

In this role, you'll help us create value from data and ensure that our financial processes run smoothly

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and reconciling suspense accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Designing, maintaining, and improving automated reconciliation processes (SAS, PowerQuery, Client Reconciliation tool)
  • Driving process improvements through automation, standardization, and documentation
  • Working closely with the Payments and Product teams to streamline workflows
  • Supporting the implementation of our new reconciliation tool (Adra Match)
  • Contributing to continuous improvements in data quality and reconciliation frameworks
  • Participating in monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly closings to ensure accurate financial reporting

We're looking for someone analytical, detail-oriented and motivated by data

You'll succeed in this role if you have:

  • Previous experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with different stakeholders
  • Solid knowledge of SAS, PowerQuery or similar
  • Experienced in Excel
  • A strong analytical mindset and good understanding of systems and data
  • Knowledge of banking processes or financial background would be considered a plus
  • Excellent written and spoken English
