Order Intake Process Lead – Own and optimise a critical business process
Imagine yourself leading and improving a process that touches every corner of our business.
As our new Order Intake Process Lead, you will take charge of our entire order intake - from capture and validation to acknowledgment - ensuring accuracy, compliance, and smooth handover. Sounds exciting? Apply now
Join a collaborative and ambitious Finance team
You will become part of our Finance department, working closely with more than 40 dedicated colleagues who value professionalism, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. The team bridges Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Project Management to ensure customer contracts translate into operational and financial clarity. Whether it's a good cup of coffee or a Friday beer, we believe in combining high standards with a great atmosphere.
Shape the future of order intake
You will play a key role in moving Systematic from manual and decentralised ways of working toward standardised, streamlined, and automated processes that add value across the business.
You can look forward to:
- Safeguarding the order intake process, ensuring compliance with contractual, legal, and financial requirements
- Reviewing and validating incoming orders for completeness and correctness, with a strong eye for financial implications
- Handling escalations and managing complex or sensitive orders across the business
- Ensuring accurate order entry across systems to support reliable revenue recognition
- Driving continuous improvements in processes, documentation, and IT tools
- Acting as a strategic partner to Finance, Legal, Business Development/Sales, and Business Operations
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues to enable high-quality execution and collaboration.
Bring your commercial operations expertise into play
You have solid experience in order management, contract interpretation, or a related commercial operations role – e.g. from a Business Development, Sales, or Process organization. You thrive in a cross-functional environment and have a proven track record of ensuring order accuracy while driving process improvements.
To succeed in this role, you should bring 5+ years of process lead experience, have a solid track record in developing pragmatic solutions and hold a bachelor or master's degree in business administration, business development or a related field.
We imagine that you:
- Have strong business understanding and can translate processes into practical steps
- Communicate clearly and confidently across functions and stakeholders
- Are structured and detail-oriented when reviewing and validating complex orders
- Have experience driving process improvements, standardisation, and efficiency
- Enjoy supporting and mentoring colleagues to strengthen collaboration
- Are familiar with ERP/CRM systems, compliance management, or process automation.
If you bring a curious, outgoing approach and a natural ability to communicate and inspire, you might just be the blend we are looking for.
You must be able to speak and write English fluently and expect about 5 days of travel each year.
Please note
that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
