As our new Senior Enterprise Architect, you'll play a pivotal role in aligning our technological landscape with our strategic ambitions. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing enterprise-wide architecture across key disciplines — including business, application, and information architecture — and spanning multiple domains and capabilities.
• Operating primarily at the business application level, with a strong focus on enabling business outcomes rather than deep technical development.
• Collaborating closely with stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable architectural roadmaps.
• Driving architectural governance, standards, and best practices across the organization.

You'll share overall accountability for Enterprise Architecture with the Head of Enterprise Architecture, working as a unified team to guide Hempel's digital transformation.

Have You Got What We're Looking For?

• Recognized certifications and a solid foundation in IT and enterprise architecture principles.
• 15+ years of experience building and designing architectures at both strategic and practical levels.
• Exposure to multiple industries, business domains, digital platforms and solutions.
• A strong educational background combined with relevant industry, product, or functional experience.
• Excellent communication skills — fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
• Proven ability to engage and influence others and be a strong stakeholder manager with the ability to work vertically i.e. from C level to technician and horizontally i.e. across many different disciplines and business areas

We need someone adaptable, collaborative, and a person that can bring a team together and shape the designs and secure that all are on same page to enable designs to be brought to live during implementations. Our new colleague should bed skilled in communication, able to tailor messages, simplify ideas, and move between strategy and operations. You should be comfortable navigating across abstraction layers and explaining end-to-end concepts with clarity and confidence.
