Join us as our new Senior Master Data Specialist

The Senior Master Data Specialist is responsible for leading transformation initiatives, driving change management efforts, and overseeing key projects within the master data domain.

This role takes ownership of complex master data processes and establishes governance frameworks to ensure master data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with enterprise objectives.

The Senior Master Data Specialist acts as a strategic partner to business stakeholders, providing expertise in master data management (MDM) and ensuring that data supports broader organizational goals.

Additionally, they serve as a mentor to junior team members and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's master data strategy.

Welcome to the Master Data Governance Team

The Master Data Governance team manages the processes, information architecture, transformation activities and technologies for master data across the Novonesis business processes.

The team consists of specialists with a broad knowledge of data and processes and the people and transformation skills to enable change.

The team removes friction from processes, creates a shared understanding of our data and prepares the data foundation for automation and agentic AI.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

• Leading modernization efforts for master data management tools, processes, and practices.

• Developing and executing strategies to drive adoption of new master data processes and governance frameworks.

• Managing high-impact master data projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and timelines.

• Overseeing cross-functional project teams and ensure effective communication across all phases of the project lifecycle.

• Establishing and enforce master data governance standards, policies, and best practices across the organization.

• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering skill development in master data management.

To succeed you must hold:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in master data management, project management, or related fields.

• Extensive experience with ERP, CRM, or MDM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).

• Strong understanding of data governance principles and change management methodologies.

• Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams.

• Advanced knowledge of master data domains (e.g., customer, supplier, product, financial).

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex data problems and propose innovative solutions.
