Inside Sales
Are you a passionate and sales-driven individual with some years' experience in the shipping industry? Do you excel at problem-solving and relationship-building? If so, we're seeking a talented Inside Sales person to join our Sales team
Job Purpose
As Inside Sales, you play an essential role for supporting the Outside Sales activities to ensure that business leads are successfully converted into actual shipments. This by coordinating (also via Outside Sales) with customers, provision of RFQ´s and RFQ follow-up, proactively seeking customer support, query resolution, analyzing of market rate and rate filing. Deliver Sales budgets/targets and Account Development Plan (as agreed with the Manager). Ensuring that all processes and transactions are fully compliant with our company rules and regulations.
Your profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic, sales driven person who is a problem solver and an active listener. Someone who has the skills to convert customers' challenges into solutions. You need to be driven & committed, socially competent and motivated by building strong and long-term relationships both externally towards customers as well as internally within the team and the company.
We do expect you to have a minimum of 2 years previous working experience within the shipping industry. It is compulsory for you to be fluent in Danish and English, in both verbal and written form. Good working knowledge of modern IT-systems such as G-suite is expected.
Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Quotation & Customer Relations, make quotations to customers (new and existing), negotiate rates, securing cargo volumes to meet sales plans.
  • Support Outside Sales, providing customer information whenever required for a customer visit.
  • Liaise with Operations, Customer Service and Credit Control departments to overcome operational issues.
  • Maintain personal relationships with all key customers by phone and sporadic visits to customers either independently or together with Outside Sales.
  • Administration, receive info/data from both Outside Sales and Inside Sales and arrange accurate filing into the respective ONE systems. Produce all rate sheets within target timescales.
  • Communicate with our ONE-offices worldwide.
