Now we are looking for a Communications Manager to join our team as a 6-month parental cover to help drive the business-critical work of protecting and promoting our brand globally and across our core markets.
About The Role
In this role, you will develop and implement strategies and tactics for bringing our stories to both local and global media outlets to better connect with our key audiences and share knowledge and learnings that help position our business. You will manage the daily news flow and incoming media requests across our local markets, as well as help drive our proactive pitching efforts to reach key audiences globally. This parental cover position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience working for a leading, sustainability-minded urban investor while contributing to high-impact projects on a creative, performance-driven team.
Key tasks
- Manage local PR efforts across our core markets in Northern Europe and oversee local agencies on tactical execution.
- Ensure structure and enable a strategic newsflow across markets.
- Write press releases, prepare spokespeople, develop proactive pitches and talking points documents.
- Coordinate with team to support key projects, and social and digital media efforts, including drafting copy for SoMe and website, investor-facing communications and other news-related content.
- Work with teams across the business, including capital formation, investment, and legal teams, to ensure messaging is strategic, consistent and accurate.
- Support on strategic communications planning and create additional capacity on business-critical projects such as product launches and other major announcements.
Experience And Skills
- Strong PR and communications expertise, ideally with experience across Northern Europe as well as global media outlets.
- A solid understanding of the key topics and agendas shaping today's media landscape, along with hands-on experience in issues management.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects and support corporate leaders strategically. Able to structure cross-functional processes involving multiple stakeholders while driving progress.
- Fluent in written and spoken English with strong execution skills. Experience in Danish and/or other Nordic languages is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Independent, results-oriented, and a collaborative team player who can manage both strategic and tactical tasks.
- Good sense of humour.
