Job Title

Job Description
Are you passionate about shaping the future of creativity? In this role, you'll develop and lead assessment centers for LEGO designers, crafting innovative programs that highlight unique creative strengths. Collaborate with design teams to build a diverse pipeline of future designers and transform creative needs into engaging initiatives.

You'll be part of the Design & Innovation Excellence team, focused on long-term creative capability. If you're organized, proactive, and excited about fostering creativity, we want to hear from you

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with LEGO designers, leaders, and strategy teams to ensure that our design potential assessment efforts align with our evolving creative ambitions
  • Design and lead evaluation programs, focused on identifying designers' creative strengths with an understanding of the capabilities that we need to address future portfolio challenges and opportunities
  • Establish a pipeline to cultivate and support a diverse pool of future designers
  • Develop and enhance initiatives that enable LEGO Design to engage with skilled individuals early on, well in advance of their potential joining the organization
  • Transform future creative requirements into outward-facing initiatives that allow us to engage with new communities, explore different geographies, and venture into various design fields
  • Serve as a representative for the Design & Innovation Excellence team at global forums and events, actively seeking out new sources of creative inspiration and fostering valuable connections

Play your part in our team succeeding
Based in Billund, Denmark, LEGO Design is a global collective of nearly 600 designers. We don't just react to needs - we prepare for them. You will join the Design & Innovation Excellence team, an enabling function passionate about long-term creative capability. Your role involves developing the systems, tools, and programs that enable us to connect with exceptional designers, particularly in areas that traditional methods may overlook. Rather than sourcing for open roles, your efforts will establish a foundation of creative readiness, empowering LEGO Design to anticipate future needs and opportunities more effectively.

Do you have what it takes?

  • A background in a business-related field
  • Experience designing or leading assessment programs, workshops, or challenges with the ability to confidently present in front of an audience and deliver a great event experience
  • A sense of creative judgment and familiarity with design fields, such as physical product, digital, visual or interactive design combined with curiosity about exploring designers' raw and growth potential in those areas
  • Skills in program or experience design, especially in educational, community or design innovation settings
  • An organized, proactive, and structured working style, plus a passion for project leading and collaborating across creative, strategic, and operational teams
  • Skilled in developing creative pipelines that emphasize exploration, community engagement, and long-term relationship building rather than simply focusing on the short-term fulfillment of roles
  • Tech savvy with an understanding of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, Power Automate, potentially SAP) including a curiosity about creating digital workflows, dashboards or databases that bring structure and insights into external engagement activities

Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. However, please note we do amend or withdraw our jobs and reserve the right to do so at any time, including prior to any advertised closing date. So, if you're interested in this role we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
