Vi søger en dedikeret Location Manager til vores hyggelige Mikkeller bar i hjertet af Århus - en person, der både kan drive en travl bar og samtidig har et hjerte, der banker for øl i særklasse. Du er den ideelle fremtidige kollega, hvis du er ivrig efter at skabe et fantastisk arbejdsmiljø og en god atmosfære for vores gæster, hvis du har lyst til at gå forrest med god service på gulvet, og hvis du har overblik og evner til at drive en barforretning videre.
Baren har 17 antal haner og byder både stamgæster, nysgerrige ølentusiaster og turister velkommen. Vi har fokus på at servere og formidle velsmagende øl i høj kvalitet, uden at det bliver højtideligt. Udover den daglige drift lægger vi vægt på at skabe liv og aktivitet gennem events som ølsmagninger, tap takeovers, løbarrangeementer og vi samarbejder med både danske og internationale bryggerier.
Som en del af Mikkeller-organisationen bliver du en del af en større retail-ledelsesgruppe med cirka 20 andre fantastiske mennesker, som er daglige ledere på vores andre lokationer. Hele ledergruppen har vidt forskellige baggrunde og erfaring fra branchen – så der er gode muligheder for sparring i det daglige. Du vil også få støtte fra nogle dedikerede kolleger placeret på Mikkellers hovedkontor i København.
Blandt en bred vifte af opgaver vil du:
- Have det overordnede ansvar for den daglige drift.
- Arbejde strategisk med at opbygge en solid toplinje og udvikle forretningen.
- Håndtere et sortiment af fremragende øl og drikkevarer.
- Være ansvarlig for al lokal markedsføring af baren, herunder:
Events, Sociale medier & Håndtering af digitale platforme - Lede et team af dedikerede bartendere. Dette inkluderer alle operationelle opgaver såsom:
Motivation og salgstræning, Servicestyring, Vagtplanlægning, Personalemøder & Daglig kontakt
Praktisk information:
- Stillingen kræver minimum ét års erfaring med ledelse i bar-/restaurantbranchen på et tilsvarende niveau.
- Stillingen er på fuldtid (37 timer pr. uge).
- Løn forhandles ud fra erfaring og kvalifikationer.
- Du skal som minimum kunne tale flydende engelsk; dansk er en fordel.

We're currently looking for a dedicated Location Manager for our cozy Mikkeller bar in the heart of Aarhus — someone who can both run a busy bar and has a true passion for exceptional beer. You're the ideal future colleague if you're eager to create a fantastic work environment and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, if you're ready to lead by example on the floor with great service, and if you have the overview and skills needed to keep the business moving forward.
The bar features 17 taps and welcomes regulars, curious beer enthusiasts, and tourists alike. We focus on serving and communicating great-tasting, high-quality beer — without being too formal about it. In addition to daily operations, we put great emphasis on creating a lively environment through events like beer tastings, tap takeovers, running meetups, and collaborations with both Danish and international breweries.
As part of the Mikkeller organization you will be part of a larger retail management group with approx. 20 other great people who are location managers in our other locations. The entire management team carries a wide variation of backgrounds and seniority in the industry – so great sparring is easy to get on a day-to-day level. You will also have the support from a dedicated work group located at Mikkeller HQ.
Amongst a wide variety of tasks, you will:
- Assume the overall responsibility of all day-to-day operations.
- Work on strategy for building a robust topline and developing the business.
- Manage a portfolio of outstanding beers and beverages.
- Be responsible for all local marketing of the business:
Events, Social media & Digital platform management - Manage a team of dedicated bartenders. This includes all operational tasks such as:
Motivation and salesmanship, Service management Roster planning, Staff meetings & Day to day contact
Practical information:
- The position requires a minimum one year of bar/restaurant management experience on a similar level.
- The position is full time or 37 hours per week.
- Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
- You are required to be fluent in English as a minimum; mastering Danish is a plus.
