Kahoot is expanding fast across Europe, and we're looking for a consultative, highly customer-facing Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. You will be the crucial bridge connecting our powerful learning technology to tangible business value for our customers, with a primary focus on the German market. You will also provide support to the wider EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region on a case-by-case basis. You will partner with Account Executives to design impactful, ROI-driven solutions, deliver compelling demos, and show customers exactly how Kahoot drives engagement, connection, and measurable learning and business outcomes.

This position is for a German speaker and can be based in our Copenhagen Office or Remote within Germany. This role is perfect for a sales-minded individual with a deep understanding of corporate learning and development (L&D) and a proven track record in a pre-sales or solutions consulting role.

On a typical day, you will
  • Own the Technical Sale: Partner with Sales to design, deliver, and position Kahoot solutions, primarily for the German market, and supporting other EMEA regions as needed.
  • Articulate Business Value: Run deep discovery sessions that uncover customer needs and map them to clear, impactful solutions with defined business value.
  • Deliver engaging, tailored demos that showcase Kahoot's value to business and higher education leaders and teams.
  • Support customers through technical validations and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Experience to ensure consistency across regions.

Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in B2B SaaS Pre-sales (Solutions/Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting).
  • Native or fluent German communication and presentation skills, in addition to excellent English.
  • Experience with L&D platforms, enablement tools, or corporate learning workflows is a strong advantage and highly preferred, but not required
  • Strong discovery, storytelling, and superior business acumen – able to connect Kahoot's value to customer priorities and measurable business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with structured qualification (e.g., MEDDIC or similar value-based selling methodologies) to identify value drivers and influence decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
