Role Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing data and finding creative solutions to drive the development and refinement of our financial solutions. Your insights will be essential in ensuring our products deliver precise and reliable information that enables our clients to make data-informed financial decisions. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the application of data within the fintech industry, all while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret large data sets to support the development of our transaction classification tools.
  • Monitor the data from the Finnish market and construct innovative strategies to drive competitive solutions in our product.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and algorithm developers to create data-driven insights for algorithmic solutions.
  • Perform quality assurance workflows, ensuring high quality and accuracy in all data-related tasks.
  • Leverage Finnish-market domain knowledge to contribute to the scaling of our product for international markets.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation to promote visibility and knowledge-sharing within the team.
  • Support product and commercial teams by providing statistical analyses and participating in client meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data science, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Pyspark or Python for data analysis.
  • Good understanding of Finnish society and financial systems.
  • Proven analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, with the ability to clearly explain complex systems to relevant stakeholders.
