Join Dentsu Denmark´s Finance team and be the Key Link Between Finance and Business as an Operational Finance Analyst.

Role Overview

The Operational Finance Analyst will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations across the organization. This position is responsible for managing media and project invoicing, client account creation and approval, and maintaining strong communication with the business regarding clients and billing. The role also involves monitoring controls and processes related to invoicing and client management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media and Job Invoicing: Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for media and project-related activities.
  • Client Account Management: Create and approve new client accounts in compliance with company policies.
  • Business Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the business regarding clients and billing inquiries.
  • Controls and Processes: Monitor controls and processes related to invoicing and client management.
  • Discrepancy Handling: Investigate and resolve media discrepancies promptly.
  • House Payables: Manage and oversee house payable accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or proven experience managing financial operations and invoicing processes in similar roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of invoicing workflows and internal financial controls, including compliance and reconciliation procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders across departments, including senior management and external outsourcing partners.
  • Fluent in Danish and strong in English.
  • Ability to collaborate with international clients and a finance team in India
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Time Management: Prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outsourced-finance: Experience with working with outsourced finance-operations in India is an advantage, as we have team-members in multiple Indian locations
  • Experience from a Media Agency is beneficial but not mandatory.

Tools & Systems

  • ERP Systems: Marathon and Workbook
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting.
  • Experience with RPA in finance is an advantage
