About The Role
We're looking for a proactive and motivated Business Controller to join our growing Finance team. As we evolve our finance function, this role will combine both financial and business controlling responsibilities from day one—with a clear path to expand the business partnering focus over time.

You'll work closely with our existing Business and Financial Controllers, helping shape the future of finance at DHS by shifting from transactional tasks to strategic insights and decision support.

Your Impact
Controlling DHS Product Lines

• Analyze P&L per product line, explain deviations and drive profitability improvements.
• Act as a finance business partner, supporting performance tracking and stakeholder collaboration.
• Prepare, support and drive the rolling forecast process.
• Deliver ad-hoc analyses on product profitability, R&D projects, and more.

Controlling Legal Entities

• Monitor and explain deviations in actuals and forecasts.
• Liaise with our Shared Service Center (SSC) on bookings, accruals, intercompany invoices, and reconciliations.

Reporting & Compliance

• Manage monthly reporting in Cognos and ensure documentation of internal controls.
• Support annual closing and coordinate with auditors.

Systems & Process Optimization

• Champion smarter ways of working by improving processes and tools.
• Maintain and develop our ERP system (e-conomic), and reporting tools like Cognos, Power BI, and Excel.

What We're Looking For

• A team player with strong collaboration skills, and a proactive out-of-the-box thinking mindset.
• Dynamic and flexible, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within deadlines.
• Good analytical and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate the problem and propose solutions you have in mind.
• Passionate about finance, new IT-tools and committed to continuous improvement together with the ability to structure, organize and follow up.

What You Bring

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (minimum B.Sc.).
• 3+ years of working experience in financial and business controlling.
• Strong understanding of full P&L analyzing and breaking down results, month-end close, accruals, accounting principles, and Danish VAT.
• Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (e-conomic), and reporting tools (Cognos, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a knack for stakeholder management.
• Fluency in Danish and English is required; German is a strong plus.
• Experience in a global, matrix organization.
• A collaborative mindset, structured approach, and a passion for continuous improvement.
