Senior Finance Associate, Treasury

In the CIP 2.0 Platform, CIP Fund Solutions - a platform delivery company providing complex fund management and investment services - is currently looking for a Senior Finance Associate to join our office in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Team
The Treasury & Transfer Agency team is part of Business Finance within CIP Fund Solutions, alongside functions like Fund Structuring and Data & Analytics. The team currently consists of six professionals and plays a critical role in managing liquidity for CIP-managed funds.

The team operates in a dynamic environment, managing high-value transactions tied to renewable energy investments, and interacting with large institutional investors.

Role
As our new Senior Finance Associate, you will play a key role in the liquidity management of our funds.

You will also be involved in planning and managing our capital calls and distributions to our investors, in cooperation with service providers and other members of the team.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:

• Managing the processes supporting capital calls and distributions from/to investors for selected CIP managed funds
• Reviewing and performing quality assurance of work carried out by external service providers in cooperation with our CIP Luxembourg team
• Communicating with investors on subjects related to capital calls, distributions, and financial reporting, as well as coordinating with our Investor Relations team
• Supporting and initiating optimization of our processes and workflows. This could involve improving system support for our distribution process or standardizing our control and reconciliation models
• Being continuously involved in ad hoc assignments across the organization, including with Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, and Investment Management teams
• Other tasks could include handling some of our internal investors and ensuring high-quality financial master data for investors, in cooperation with Investor Relations and our student analyst

Given these tasks, you will have the opportunity to communicate with large institutional investors, working with complex company structures - and handling high-profile transactions in the context of renewable energy investments.

This position is not a typical financial controller role. However, a background as a financial controller or in auditing will provide a good foundation for working with funds and investments, which—due to their complexity—will challenge you in a positive and developmental way.

You
You have 3+ years of experience from either finance or accounting functions. You have relevant higher education within Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.

Some experience from the financial sector would be an advantage, e.g., from working in a pension fund, private equity fund manager or with institutional investors at a major audit firm, but this is not a prerequisite if you have the right proactive and "eager-to-learn" mindset.

• You have proficient IT skills, particularly in Excel, and basic experience with ERP systems, such as MS Business Central
• You possess strong written and oral communication skills in English
