In KPMG's Due Diligence team, you will have the opportunity to advise leading Danish and international companies/investors on strategic engagements and act as a trusted advisor in their decision-making processes.With more than 350 announced deals since early 2016, KPMG is the leading due diligence provider on the Danish market with Nature Energy, Carlsberg, Danfoss, Shell, Maersk, Royal Unibrew, Gro Capital, Bain and Triton among the company names for deals we have worked on.
Examples of tasks that you will do:
- Support the team in providing financial and business due diligence for buy- and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
- Learn and utilise the latest data-analytic tools in order to analyse historical and projected trading, quality of earnings, balance sheets, and cash flow with respect to purchase price and negotiation of the target company.
- Create and design tailored transaction advisory reports specific to key issues such as normalised earnings, valuation model input assumptions, achievability of management's budget, and debt considerations.

Our team is a national unit operating from two offices, with a larger team in Copenhagen and a growing team in Aarhus, consisting of experienced professionals who deliver excellence in due diligence services across a range of purposes, such as:
- Advising clients on a wide range of transaction-related services within due diligence including providing M&A support from pre-deal evaluation, buy and sell-side financial due diligence to completion assistance.
- Help clients identify opportunities and risks in acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures (JVs), and assist with buyouts and initial public offerings (IPOs).
Our clients include domestic as well as international corporations, PE, financial institutions, and governments. Our engagements are a mix of short and long duration, client-site and office-based work in Denmark, rest of the Nordics, the EU and overseas. Our team is situated in the KPMG headquarters in Copenhagen and in Aarhus.

- You have a relevant master's degree in finance, accounting, auditing or economics.

- Experience within accounting or auditing is a plus but not a requirement.
