Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Ento Full time

At Ento, we help organisations monitor and optimise energy consumption across large building portfolios. By combining millions of data points with artificial intelligence, we translate complex energy data into actionable insights that make it easier to reduce energy use, meet regulatory requirements, and document real savings and impact.

Ento works with organisations across Europe, including municipalities, retail chains, social housing providers, and asset and property managers. Today, more than one third of all municipalities in Denmark use our platform, alongside large retail and real estate portfolios in Italy and the UK, as well as some of Europe's largest cities. Over 50,000 buildings run on Ento, helping customers save more than 15,000 tons of CO₂.

Our team consists of 11 experienced people across 4 countries, with offices in Denmark (Aarhus and Copenhagen). We work in a hybrid setup, combining remote work with the flexibility to collaborate from the office when it makes sense. This way of working relies on trust rather than strict rules and gives people a high degree of autonomy. In return, we expect ownership, accountability, and intrinsic motivation.

The Role

We are looking for a Project Manager to help our customers realise their first energy savings as quickly as possible by turning energy data into live, reliable integrations on the Ento platform.

The core of the role is project execution and stakeholder coordination. You will lead data access and integration projects from initial discussions to live integrations, working closely with customers, utilities, data partners, and our sales and data science team. This is a strongly people-facing role, with most of your time spent coordinating across internal and external stakeholders, keeping projects moving, and removing blockers. While you are not expected to own the full customer relationship or onboarding end-to-end, you will be the primary contact for utilities and data partners and fully responsible for the success of the integration projects.

Alongside coordination, you should be comfortable working hands-on with data when needed. This includes reviewing, cleaning, and restructuring building lists and energy meter data to ensure integrations work as expected. You are not expected to be a data scientist, but curiosity and a willingness to engage with data is essential. Over time, you will build a strong understanding of how energy data is collected and integrated across different markets. Together with the data team, you will contribute to decisions and processes around APIs, SFTP connections, manual imports, or third-party platforms, depending on customer and market maturity.

This role suits someone who takes ownership, follows through, and is comfortable navigating complexity across multiple stakeholders. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will need to convey technical topics clearly and concisely. You will be leading integration projects across Denmark and international markets, and therefore fluency in both Danish and English is required.

Responsibilities

Project execution and coordination

  • Plan and execute data access and integration projects across multiple markets
  • Coordinate with customers, utilities, and integration partners to secure energy data access
  • Negotiate and manage data access agreements with utilities and third-party providers
  • Identify and resolve data delivery issues to ensure reliable and timely integrations

Data and integration work

  • Review, clean, and validate building lists, energy meter data, and related datasets
  • Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot inconsistencies
  • Improve processes and automations to increase efficiency and scalability

Commercial and scaling support

  • Build and maintain relationships with utilities and data providers
  • Support customer expansions and new market entry where data access is a dependency
  • Collaborate with the product team to improve the data onboarding experience
  • Deliver training to customers and internal teams on data integration processes

What we are looking for

  • You have previous experience in a similar role (i.e. technical customer success/support, pre-sales engineer, project management) dealing with both data and customers, preferably enterprise or public sector entities
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working across internal and external stakeholders
  • A structured, ownership-driven approach and the grit to get projects across the finish line
  • Comfortable working in a small, experienced, and hybrid team
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
  • Experience with Python, SQL, API integrations, or similar tools is a plus, but not required; curiosity and motivation to learn matter more
  • Danish and English proficiency is required, (other Nordic languages are a plus)

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and equity, plus benefits to support your work-life balance and career growth:
  • Flexible work environment: Choose where you work, whether remotely, in our Danish offices, or in a hybrid approach
  • Regular company retreats across Europe: Build relationships with colleagues, collaborate, and have fun
  • Cutting-edge tech: Be at the forefront of technology and work on projects that make a difference
  • Inclusive work environment: Feel valued and respected in a collaborative environment
  • Equity compensation: Own a piece of the company and share in our future growth
  • Vacation allowance: Enjoy 30 vacation days per year to relax and recharge no matter where you are located

If you want to play a central role in the roll-out of our AI-first energy optimization platform and our drive towards unprecedented speed and scale in the transition to sustainable energy consumption, please apply
