Your new role
As our new Managing Consultant or Senior Managing Consultant, you will join our team that supports clients with a wide range of environmental issues. We are seeking someone with initiative and relevant sales experience to help grow our sustainability practice and contribute to advancing innovative, cross-disciplinary solutions for our clients. We are looking for candidates with 10+ years of experience largely with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and sustainability project management experience in a consulting environment. - Provide leadership and direction for LCA and sustainability services
- Provide industry-specific thought leadership on emerging LCA, sustainability, and climate change topics
- Oversee project delivery with a focus on client management, quality assurance, and building deep, long-term relationships that position Ramboll as the partner of choice for our clients
- Collaborate with other Ramboll departments (energy, management consulting experts and others) in deploying integrated sustainability solutions as a marketplace differentiator
- Drive innovation and thought leadership within focus area(s) to stay ahead of client needs and support brand and positioning efforts
This position is preferably based in Copenhagen, but we are open to discussing other locations such as Aarhus, Vejle, or Aalborg.
Your new team
As our new Managing Consultant or Senior Managing Consultant, you will be part of the Circular Economy and Resource Management (CERM) in Ramboll's Environment & Health Division. You will collaborate with a dynamic group of professionals from the LCA team, Waste and resources and Chemicals teams. Our group consists of energetic, caring individuals who are passionate about helping Ramboll's clients tackle their most challenging problems related to climate change and sustainability. The LCA team is located in the Copenhagen office, but we have people all around Denmark in the department. The person we seek will effectively drive business development activities within their network and with other Ramboll clients while overseeing high quality project execution and contribute to building the team to support our growing practice. The successful candidate will have a proven track record, excellent technical and client management skills.
About you

These include:
- A background in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability or similar
- 10+ years sustainability consulting experience including LCA and carbon management
- Experienced in client relations and sales
- Experience delivering LCA, sustainability, and/or carbon management projects to clients across a variety of sectors, including development of project scopes, coordination and delegation of work, and management of budget and schedule
- Subject matter expertise in LCA, eco-design, sustainability and/or carbon management and/or LCA calculations, methods and standards.
Experience developing and modelling environmental LCAs, EPD, and/or carbon footprints
Demonstrated thought leadership in LCA, carbon management and/or sustainability
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred Skills include:
- Formal training in LCA, such as graduate level training or professional certification
- Proficiency in SimaPro, Umberto or similar LCA Software
- Experience with product sustainability, design for the environment, and design for sustainability approaches and sustainable product taxonomies
- Experience with audit or assurance engagements
- Familiarity with voluntary climate change and sustainability methodologies and reporting frameworks (e.g., GHG Protocol, TCFD, CDP, SASB, GRI, GRESB, PCAF, RED III)
- Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal. Danish is a plus
