Do you want to work with mobile app architecture within areas such as medical devices, SaMD, digital health, and diagnostic support tools using machine learning?

Taking the lead for our mobile app development, you will be at the forefront of creating superior mobile experiences, fulfilling Coloplast's ambitions of making Digital a commercial enabler.

IT Digital Technology – we handle initiatives for online, app and cloud platforms

Joining us at our HQ in Humlebæk, you will become part of our Digital Technology team, which is part of Digital, Data & IT. Here, you will gain 8 colleagues who are technically responsible for both new development and ongoing maintenance of the Coloplast customer-facing websites, mobile apps and cloud services.

Our goal is to create solutions that make life easier for our end-users by using the latest in technology to supply superior customer experiences using data, connected products and services.

Be at the forefront of designing, developing and maintaining our future digital services

As the Mobile App Solution Architect, you will have the end-to-end responsibility for solution design with a specific focus on mobile apps for our end-users.

Your agenda is to develop a modern solution architecture where scalability, efficiency, security, and data protection go hand in hand, ensuring best practices and development principles as per regulatory standards of medical device lifecycle management.

This means that you will:

• Own and define a scalable SW architecture for the medical device mobile app solution to be safe and of high quality
• Work closely with the software development team to come up with solution designs and act as a technical sounding board for the business when new features are to be developed
• Collaborate with the team's cloud architect and app development team to come up with solutions that meet both consumer and business needs
• Set the technical corner flags and quality expectations and contribute to the development of complex features
• Work with our medical device(s) development team where you facilitate and advise our technical team on the best technical strategy and development approach
• Set the technical direction for app development teams in close collaboration with our Cloud Architect, Mobile App Solution Owner and the development team, working with overall system-level requirements between firmware, hardware, and software

Broad knowledge of infrastructure and excellent communication skills

Providing a direction for others to follow requires the ability to give advice and to communicate in a clear-cut manner. You master this art to perfection. You know how to make yourself heard and you navigate easily at many levels of the organisation, explaining your vision to app developers, managers, product owners and fellow architects in a convincing way.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

• Have a technical educational background – e.g. within engineering or IT – or come with years of experience equaling the educational background
• Have several years of experience with mobile app solution design and development on iOS/Android with a cloud backend
• Understand how an app plays into a large, corporate setup
• Have experience within agile digital development in pharma, MedTech and/or SaMD development (e.g. regulated by e.g. IEC 62304)
• Are fluent in English
