Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in developing next-generation connectivity platform software. This role demands strong skills in embedded software design, debugging, and optimization, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-performance solutions. You'll work with C, C++, Python, Embedded Linux, and Yocto, contributing across the full development lifecycle within an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to refine and prioritize features.
  • Implement high-quality embedded software aligned with specifications, coding standards, and performance requirements.
  • Conduct unit and component-level testing to validate functionality and robustness.
  • Actively contribute to sprints, ceremonies, and backlog refinement as part of the agile process.
  • Produce and maintain design, requirements, and architecture documentation.
  • Work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software developers to ensure smooth integration.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience building and debugging embedded systems.
  • Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
  • Solid experience in Linux-based embedded development and Yocto builds.
  • Familiarity with Jira (Portfolio plug-in), Jenkins, Artifactory, VS Code, Clang.
  • Understanding of connectivity platform protocols, Services Train architecture, Common API, OpenSSL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid track record in embedded software development, ideally in automotive, telecom, or connectivity domains.
