We are looking for a IT Project Manager for our client in the pharma industry.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Consultant) to take over an ongoing project focused on critical upgrades within our production IT landscape. The project's primary goal is to upgrade the SCADA server, update the iFix application, and replace the PAS-X gateway for our filling lines, formulation, and CIP/SIP equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth project transition and continuity, as well as driving the project to successful completion.

A key part of your role will be to lock down the project scope and design, including leading the process of vendor selection in close collaboration with our Project Management Office (PMO) and Line of Business (LoB) stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility for an existing IT project, ensuring a smooth transition and continuity.
  • Lead the upgrade of the SCADA server, update the iFix application, and oversee the replacement of the PAS-X gateway for filling lines, formulation, and CIP/SIP equipment.
  • Apply the PEM project execution model throughout all project phases.
  • Define and communicate clear project roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Establish and maintain effective meeting structures and feedback processes.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and adjust plans as needed.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Drive collaboration across teams and organizational levels.
  • Lock down project scope and design, including vendor selection in collaboration with PMO and Line of Business.
  • Anticipate and proactively address project risks and challenges.
  • Motivate and guide team members, fostering a positive and solution-oriented environment.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with the PEM model.
  • Experience with waterfall and Stage Gate project models.
  • Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience working with IT systems in production facilities or utilities, including change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Extensive experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong personal commitment, effectiveness, and an open management style. Demonstrated experience with SCADA systems, iFix application, and PAS-X gateway projects.
  • Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken.
  • Location: Kalundborg (onsite, partially remote)
