Senior Project Manager – Product & Portfolio Management (Manufacturing Industry)

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an international manufacturer currently executing a major PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) transformation. The role focuses on the implementation of Product & Portfolio Management capabilities across multiple divisions - building a single, integrated digital model for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, budgeting, and delivery of Product & Portfolio Management initiatives.
  • Develop detailed work breakdowns, estimates, and delivery plans ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Report consistently on progress, financials, and resources.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across business, engineering, and IT.
  • Ensure quality sign-off together with the Test Manager.
  • Collaborate closely with capability experts, solution architects, and change leads.
  • Drive organizational readiness and adoption through structured rollout and communication.

Expected Outcomes

  • Successful implementation of Product & Portfolio capabilities within the PLM program.
  • A consolidated digital model replacing spreadsheets with governed, reusable data.
  • Adoption of new processes, data structures, and systems within product development teams.
  • Implementation of the Product & Portfolio Management system (Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE or similar).
  • Consolidation of redundant tools and applications.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in large organizations.
  • Hands-on background in PLM, ideally within Product & Portfolio Management domains.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills; able to turn ambiguity into actionable structure.
  • Business understanding of product development and lifecycle management.
  • Solid stakeholder management and communication abilities across technical and business areas.
  • Proficiency in Jira or Azure DevOps, MS 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Teams), and Power BI.
  • Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE or similar PLM platforms (Teamcenter, Windchill etc.) is an advantage.
  • Fluent English (required); Danish (preferred).
