Your new role
As Senior Manager for Diabetes Marketing you will drive the commercial success of our products and services on an international scale. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement marketing strategies, lead high-impact promotional initiatives, and analyse market dynamics to ensure our brands achieve their full potential. Working cross-functionally, you will shape marketing activities that resonate with target audiences and deliver strong business results.
Key responsibilities include to:
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve growth objectives for assigned products and services
- Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform decision-making
- Design and execute advertising and promotional campaigns, enhancing brand visibility and engagement across markets
- Analyse sales performance and refine marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and improve results
- Lead the creation of impactful international promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and regional requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of commercial initiatives and cohesive brand positioning
- Provide actionable insights and performance reports to senior leadership, supporting strategic planning and business decisions

Your new department
You will be part of the Medical & Marketing team at Novo Nordisk. This department plays a critical role in driving innovative marketing strategies and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams. The position is based in Zurich or Copenhagen, where you will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our team is dedicated to fostering cohesive strategies and bridging efforts between International Operations and Strategic Operations to drive unified outcomes. Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients worldwide.

Your Skills & Qualifications
We're looking for a new Senior Manager for Diabetes Marketing who has the ability to analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and develop long-term strategies that align with Novo Nordisk's objectives. You maintain a meticulous approach to monitoring sales performance, market trends, and campaign results, ensuring that all aspects of the marketing process are optimised for success.
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold an academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
- Have at least 5 years' experience primarily in brand marketing, or related field
- Have a proven expertise in market analysis, product development, and campaign management
- Possess strong skills in monitoring, analysing, and evaluating market data to uncover actionable insights, ensuring that marketing efforts are data-driven and impactful
- Are fully proficient in English, both written and spoken
It will be seen as an advantage if you have gained pharmaceutical and diabetes related experience.
On a personal level, you possess strong communication skills to effectively convey insights, strategies, and recommendations to stakeholders, while also influencing decision-making processes. You are adept at liaising with various departments to implement product changes and ensure alignment across the organisation. while maintaining the ability to work independently.
Finally, you demonstrate a deep understanding of customer feedback and needs, using this insight to drive product improvements and enhance customer satisfaction.
