Volunteer in Diversity Works' PR group and help tell the stories that make a difference

Diversity Works is one of Denmark's oldest NGOs for ethnic minority Danes and works every day for empowerment, inclusion and equal opportunities. We build bridges between people through homework help, communities and education - and our stories are an important part of that effort.

Therefore, we are now looking for committed volunteers for a new PR group that will strengthen our external communication and help convey the many positive, strong and moving stories from our centers and activities.

What is PR in Diversity Works?

The PR group works to make Diversity Works' work visible through social media, the website, small campaigns and internal and external stories. This could include, for example:

write short articles, portraits or posts

take pictures or short videos

produce content for Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

develop ideas for campaigns and events

support with graphics, layout or simple design work

help with newsletters and communication about our activities

The work is varied and creative - and you choose, in collaboration with the volunteer coordinator, which tasks you want to complete.

About you

We are looking for you who want to communicate, convey and be creative – whether you are a beginner, student or experienced. You may recognize yourself in some of these:

You are interested in journalism, social media, photography, video or communication.

You are curious about NGO work and passionate about creating positive stories about diversity.

You like to work independently, but also participate in a creative community.

You are welcoming, a good listener and good at meeting people where they are.

You don't have to know everything – we help each other, and all contributions are valuable.

Flexible meeting times

The PR group works very flexibly. There are no fixed attendance mandates . Instead, tasks and meetings are freely agreed upon within the group, so you can get involved when it fits into your everyday life and your studies/job. Some tasks can be done from home, others require you to come by the center.
