Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Payne Talent Full time 100,000 - 180,000 per year

Tech-first. Ego-free. User-obsessed. We're Skatteguiden – the independent advisor for 1 million Danes (and counting), starting with tax and now taking on the broader world of personal finance.

We're not tied to strategic partners, investor KPIs or slow-moving hierarchies. We're profitable, well-funded, and accountable only to our users. That gives us a rare superpower: clarity.

We're a tech company at heart. That means tight teams, direct execution, and continuous delivery. We build fast, break well, and learn obsessively. We ship meaningful products, not fluff – and we win together.

About this Opportunity

At Skatteguiden, we're pioneering tools that rethink how advisory and automation work together. If you thrive at the intersection of innovation, data, and product design - and love turning ambitious AI ideas into tangible solutions — this is your playground.

As Product Manager, you will be part of a cross-functional squad (Product, Backend, Frontend, AI, UX) - a small, focused team made up of people with different skill sets working towards a shared goal. In this setup, you'll lead the product side in close collaboration with a tech lead.

Your squad is responsible for developing tools that empower our internal processes. We're heavily invested in applying AI to make our operations smarter - from automating repetitive tasks to building intelligent systems that support decision-making and advisory work. You'll play a key role in shaping how AI becomes an integral part of our products, ensuring that each feature delivers measurable user and business value.

We're looking for someone with the drive to help us look forward and spearhead our vision. You'll collaborate closely with engineers and data scientists to design and iterate on systems that combine automation, UX, and intelligence - balancing technical possibilities with user needs.

You will be tapping into ongoing projects like new UI tools to improve the workflow of our advisors, automations to handle manual processes, and leveraging AI for smarter case handling and advanced analytics. This is a highly product-driven squad where your ability to connect process insight with technical possibilities will directly shape how we work.

About the Role
  • Own and drive the product roadmap for our empowerment-oriented product development, setting clear priorities aligned with company objectives.
  • Should feel comfortable creating deliverables and impact metrics for AI-driven projects and other tech-heavy initiatives
  • Analyse user needs and raw data to identify opportunities for product improvements and new feature development that deliver real value.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team, including UI/UX designers and engineers, to translate insights into actionable tasks and product releases.
  • Maintain a long-term product vision that dictates directions and inspires new approaches to our current solutions
  • Adapt quickly to changing information and priorities, managing multiple projects simultaneously while keeping the team aligned and focused.
  • Act as a proactive, self-driven leader who independently manages their agenda while collaborating with leadership to refine and execute the product strategy.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and ensure the product lives up to the expected impact
Your Experience
  • You will typically have 3+ years in a Product Manager role or similar, preferably within a scale-up or late-stage startup environment.
  • Experience in leading AI/ML-driven products from idea to production
  • Understand the possibilities and limitations of AI-driven development - and utilize that knowledge to generate meaningful roadmaps
  • Fluency in Danish is required, as all products and data are built in Danish.
  • You should be currently based in the Copenhagen area, Denmark (No help with visa or relocation is provided)
  • Proven ability to translate complex data and raw inputs into actionable product strategies and user-centric solutions
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments requiring frequent reprioritisation and agile decision-making
  • Experience leading projects from strategic vision through hands-on implementation
  • Ability to quickly create structure and set direction in changing environments, prioritising based on impact and mission
  • Experience in defining and communicating a clear product vision and designing strong, end-to-end user journeys
  • Affinity for numbers, logic, and technical understanding, with the ability to translate raw data into concrete initiatives and measurable outcomes
What's in it for you?

Own a critical product area at the heart of our AI and automation strategy - giving you real influence over how we scale our operations and how we aim to solve Tax advisory with technology and AI.

Enjoy the autonomy to set your own agenda and lead your squad with minimal oversight, supported by a collaborative and experienced leadership team
