Your new role
Your main responsibilities will be:  

• To enable real time portfolio management across the entire R&D value chain
• Drive implementation of one uniform resource management system across R&D to ensure greater decision-making efficiency, enhance transparency in resource allocation, and strengthen overall operational effectiveness within R&D
• To support management by creating transparency and analysis for informed decision-making. Therefore, you will turn complex data into clear conclusions and easy-to-understand communication slides

Your new department
R&D Portfolio & Forecasting is a global function of 14 dedicated professionals supporting and collaborating across the global R&D organisation. It is a complex environment with many projects in our R&D portfolio. Transparency and in-depth analysis on portfolio, capacity and performance management is critical to us.

Your skills and qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:

• Hold a master's degree in business, science, R&D, or any other relevant field
• Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in data analysis, business analysis, and/or portfolio management
• Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is a big advantage
• Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Be proficient with IT tools (especially Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint)

 
As a person, you are self-driven, analytical, a good communicator, and function well in a dynamic global environment. You have strong business acumen and enjoy collaborating with many different stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds.
 

The above skills are of major importance as you have to establish a strong collaboration with the research and development project organisation based on mutual trust and be considered as a value-adding portfolio partner.
