Head of Digital Manufacturing

Do you want to lead the digital backbone of Arla's factories and ensure mission-critical production systems run reliably at scale?

As our Head of Digital Manufacturing you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Arla's digital manufacturing landscape, holding end-to-end accountability for operation, development and implementation of solutions that power our production.

How you will make an impact
In this role, you will co-lead the Digital Manufacturing domain together with the Enablement Delivery Partner of Supply Chain IT, aligning strategy, roadmaps, delivery models and operational performance across factories and business units. You will ensure systems meet SLAs, strengthen resilience and continuously modernise the digital manufacturing stack—while owning budget forecasting and financial follow-up across operational and development workstreams. More specifically, you will;

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Digital Manufacturing product area.
• Jointly lead the Digital Manufacturing domain with the Enablement Delivery Partner of Supply Chain IT, ensuring coherence between architecture, delivery, operations and product strategy.
• Hold end-to-end accountability for operating manufacturing IT solutions in alignment with SLAs.
• Drive development, implementation and continuous enhancement of digital manufacturing products and capabilities.
• Own budget forecasting, financial planning and follow-up to ensure alignment between budget and actuals.

The role sits within Supply Chain IT and spans close collaboration with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and IT. You will oversee vendor management and commercial relationships, ensure compliance with governance frameworks, cybersecurity and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement of digital manufacturing systems and processes across sites.

What will make you successful
You bring strategic product leadership across the full lifecycle and several years of hands-on experience with Manufacturing IT/OT platforms—especially AVEVA MES, SCADA, System Platform and Historian. You hold strong governance capabilities with SLAs, KPIs, risk/compliance and operational controls which enable you to secure uptime, resilience and lifecycle management. Financial stewardship is second nature: you forecast, control costs and manage budget vs. actuals with timely corrective actions.  A part of you toolkit is also vendor and contract management, portfolio and prioritisation across features, stability and risk, and incident/problem management with structural remediation. Executive communication and advanced stakeholder management help you align between functions while clear communication bridges technical and non-technical audiences. Your profile is rounded by your ability to drive alignment in complex, multi-stakeholder environments and professional English proficiency.
