Data Engineer Consultant

• Location: Central Copenhagen, near Vesterport Station

You will be part of a dynamic and diverse team of 60 data experts who help companies gain new insights using a wide palette of tools.

Work Assignments

This is mainly a hands-on coding role focused on turning complex data challenges into production-ready solutions.

More specifically, the role involves:

• Designing & building data pipelines.

• Data modelling

• Developing solutions for data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

• Implementing and developing modern data platforms through DevOps & CI/CD practices.

• Collaborating with our client's data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to solve business issues to ensure lasting value.

You will be guided & learn from our many senior engineers. 

What You Bring to the Team

Ideally, you have:

• Proficiency in either Python, PySpark, SQL, APIs or software development.

• Either recently completed (or soon completing) a Master's degree in a relevant field or worked as a Data Engineer for a couple of years.

• An analytical approach to problem-solving, with a strong interest in how to drive business improvement using data.

• Clear communication skills and the curiosity to engage with clients on projects.

• It's a plus if you have experience with Azure, AWS, GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, dbt, or AI technologies, but if you don't have it, no worries - we will teach you

• A base near Copenhagen and fluency in English (we're very open to non-Danish speakers)

• Developed a comprehensive end-to-end data warehouse solution, featuring automated pipelines that structured dimensional data from diverse operational systems for unified analytics for a client.

• Assessed the current data landscape in Novonesis and implemented a new self-service landscape to enable business users to utilise the power of the modern data stack.

• Helped Novo Nordisk become more data-driven by building data solutions in Production, Finance, Sales, R&D, HR, ESG, and many other departments.
