About the Head of Group IT Role – Strategic IT Leadership and Digital Transformation

As our new
Head of Group IT
, you will be responsible for shaping and executing Novenco's IT strategy, ensuring robust governance, operational excellence, and forward-thinking digital initiatives. You will lead a small internal team and collaborate closely with outsourcing partners to deliver secure, stable, and scalable IT solutions that support our business goals. This is a unique opportunity to drive digital maturity and innovation in a company committed to sustainability and international growth.

Main Responsibilities – IT Strategy, Governance, and Business Enablement

• Develop and implement a unified IT strategy aligned with Novenco's business objectives and digital ambitions
• Lead the IT function across all Novenco locations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
• Establish and manage an annual IT wheel focusing on governance, risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement
• Define and maintain IT policies covering security, data protection, NIS2 compliance, and disaster recovery
• Ensure high uptime and stability of critical systems including ERP (IFS), Office 365, Airbox, and Vault
• Drive automation and workflow optimization using SharePoint and other internal platforms
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies (e.g. AI, Cloud) to enhance business capabilities
• Collaborate with ERP specialists and business units to optimize the use of the IFS platform
• Facilitate process improvements through digitalization, documentation, testing, and training
• Provide structured reporting of IT performance and activities to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)

Qualifications and Competencies – IT Leadership, Governance, and Business Acumen

• Technical or business degree in IT, computer science, or a related field
• Proven experience in strategic and operational IT leadership, including budget responsibility
• Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and standards (e.g. NIS2)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate IT's value across all levels of the organization
• Experience with ERP systems – knowledge of IFS is a significant advantage
• Solid business acumen and ability to align IT initiatives with organizational goals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and proactive mindset
• Ability to manage and collaborate with external IT partners effectively
• A collaborative, forward-thinking approach and willingness to contribute to cross-functional leadership
