The team you will be part of

In the role of our new Data Governance Lead, you will assist the Head of Master Data Management and Governance in establishing and executing the strategic vision for data governance throughout the organization.

You will collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, champion best practices, and implement frameworks that enable high-quality data management. Your leadership will help ensure that our data assets are accurate, secure, and used responsibly to enhance business results.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Support creation and execution of the data governance strategy, aligning it with business objectives and regulatory requirements
• Design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and standards
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve data quality, consistency, and accessibility
• Help to establish a Data Governance Council or similar body to ensure adoption and accountability
• Partner with IT, legal, compliance, analytics, and business teams to ensure data stewardship and adherence to policies
• Define and monitor key metrics to track data governance effectiveness and value delivery, report progress to governance stakeholders
• Support identification and remediation of data-related risks and issues, escalating matters as required
• Champion data literacy and promote a culture of responsible data usage throughout the organization

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
• Practical experience (several years) in data governance, data management, or a similar leadership role
• Thorough understanding of data governance best practices and frameworks and regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Extensive experience in developing and implementing data governance policies and processes
• Solid leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working with data management and governance tools
• Analytical skills, change-management experience, and the ability to make effective decisions
