Job Description:
We are looking for a Contracts Manager (Maternity Cover) in Copenhagen to join Satair's international commercial contracts team. Draft and negotiate contracts with customers, protect our company's interest by controlling contractual risk and interact with many experts in the aviation industry. This position is for a fixed term (around 9-11 months) as it is to cover for a team member on maternity leave.

The Contracts Manager will be covering for a team member during maternity leave and will be part of a small, global and highly specialized contracts team within Satair.
The main focus of this position will be on the business of Satair in Europe, Middle East and Africa and will support Satair contracts with customers related to products and services in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders. In addition, the position is aimed to support the other, regular activity of the Satair contracts team.
The position will be located in Copenhagen and requires the ability to travel for work, mainly within Europe, appr. 2 to 4 times a year (or as needed).
The responsibilities include:
- Build, draft, negotiate, approve and manage any commercial downstream contracts with customers for Satair A/S and for the rest of the Satair organisation (including Airbus S.A.S.) in compliance with our processes and policies and while minimizing our risks
- Manage contract lifecycle, from the internal validation and archiving to the implementation and follow-up, as e.g. amendments, renewal and termination, as well as disputes
- Support the Satair contracts team in managing the contractual templates, the commercial policies of Satair and Airbus Services and Satair's General terms and Conditions
- Assist internal stakeholders in the Satair organisation and Airbus by providing guidance and ensuring compliance on contractual topics, incl. claims and disputes
How you will contribute to the team
- We are looking for at least 3 years of experience in an international commercial contracting or legal environment, or another relevant role.
- At least 2 years of experience in drafting and/or negotiating commercial contracts in English or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of English law with regards to commercial contracts, understanding of Danish or French law would be a plus.
- Preferably a degree in Law, Business, Finance, (Aerospace) Engineering or equivalent
- Ideally a high degree of aviation business understanding.
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills in English (and any other language would be a plus).
- Customer mindset with a strong intercultural understanding.
- Diplomacy, negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management
- Able to reach agreements on a non-confrontational win-win basis
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Ability to participate and contribute to transversal, international projects and company targets
- Able to work in a self-directed, autonomous mode with minimal supervision
- Professional level of discretion, keeping confidentiality of contractual matters
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace are a plus
