As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Security Manager to join our team and lead our security operations in Denmark.

Core Responsibilities
  • In close collaboration with our Regional Head of Security EMEA, you will be deploying and implementing strategic priorities to drive security risk assessments & define relevant mitigations against identified risks to protect LEGO® assets, property & people.

  • Responsible for defining requirements for security infrastructure at the different sites in Denmark and secure existing security infrastructure is operating and maintained according to standards and budgets. (e.g., Surveillance cameras, Access Control, Site Perimeter, Body Scanner and other relevant technologies)

  • Lead daily security operations in accordance to defined standards, budgets & performance measures.

  • Manage external contracts & partnerships for outsourced security services in Denmark ensuring regular follow-up on performance and ongoing efficiency optimization.

  • Facilitate the ongoing development / maintenance of local Contingency Plans for the LEGO Group's activities in Denmark in collaboration with relevant areas, functions and specialists.

  • Responsible for mobilizing the Local Site Emergency Management teams in Billund and/or Copenhagen in the event of incidents & emergencies, ensuring appropriate communication to & between partners (e.g., Legal, HR, Operations, EHS, Governmental & Public Affairs, Local Facility) and ensure timely reporting to Regional Director on the status & result.

  • Support on ad-hoc requests & tasks for cross site collaboration.

The Global Security Organization looks after people & assets in the organization. The primary role is to ensure business continuity by protecting the company & employees from critical security incidents, ensuring efficient responses to incidents & preventing physical leaks and thefts of intellectual property & critical assets. This includes safety aspects of various events & travel security.

As Senior Site Security Manager, you are the part of the Security EMEA Team, where you are encouraged to contribute to deploy the strategic priorities locally in BLL & managing all security operations in the factory, cross sites support security teams, collaborating closely with EMEA Leadership Team (LT), key partners (Production, Legal, PO&D, Procurement, RBP, Imp & Exp, MWH etc.) Site Emergency Management Team (SEMT), Emergency Response Team (ERT), Local Command Center (LCC), Global Command Center (GCC, GSO Excellence Center).

Do you have what it takes?
  • Strong background on corporate security function including implementing Global Security strategy, facility management, EHS or similar academic background.

  • Experience with contract management, facility project management and knowledge about security systems (ACS/CCTV/AIA) will be considered an advantage.

  • Proven experience with structured approach to analyze, identify, and prioritize security risks, crime prevention.

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of crime and ability to apply crime prevention approaches for loss prevention.

  • Use principles of security design and apply these to deliver fit for purpose security programs.

  • Knowledge about Access Management, Video Surveillance (CCTV), Perimeter Protection and Asset Protection, policies and guidelines to Evaluate security systems and identify measures to mitigate security risks.

  • Crisis Management - Ability to respond and act efficiently in a crisis and implement Contingency Plan and related operational emergency response plans and procedures.

  • Knowledge regarding GDPR, NIS2, CER and national laws regarding straightened (cyber) preparedness is considered an advantage.
