Your challenges

 
As our Project Manager Maternity Cover in Experience Marketing, you will have a central role in planning, coordinating, and delivering a wide range of events and projects to reach and activate different target groups of the VELUX Group. Your canvas will span event creation, coordination and execution, as well as brand activation. Collaborating closely with the Experience Marketing team and other stakeholders, you’ll ensure the seamless execution and success of each endeavour.

Your main project to begin with will be the Sustainability Challenge 2024 – VELUX x Roskilde Festival, where you will be the main responsible, host and facilitator.

Also, planning and execution of our newly established partnership with the Northside Festival will be part of your focus.

More specifically, your tasks will include:

Research and creative idea generation on potential events and brand activation activities

End-to-end Event management / facilitation / hosting

Project development, planning & budgeting

Stakeholder management across all levels of the organization

Contracts negotiation and finalizing

Sight / location inspections

PR strategy and planning with agency

Graphics and communication material production

Film production with agency (manus / interviews responsibility)

SoMe optimization

This maternity cover runs until approx. April 2025, and we are looking to onboard our new colleague as soon as possible.

Your qualifications

We will come to know you as someone who is structured and organized and likes to get things done, and you know when and what to challenge in order to improve a delivery. You are a people person and easily navigate in a diverse stakeholder landscape across hierarchical levels. You demeanor instills trust and being the proficient communicator that you are, you ensure to keep your stakeholders involved and informed and always aware of what you expect of them to make things happen. You feel confident in a hosting or facilitator role and you are not afraid to take lead, speak up and voice your opinion. You enjoy unleashing your creative mind when developing new concepts for events and activities, and you are pragmatic and solution oriented when solving problems.

Moreover, we expect that you:

Bring extensive experience in event management and have had the main responsibility for running large events

Are proficient in the disciplines of project management, incl. planning, budgeting, risk assessment, progress tracking, prioritization of activities and optimization of cost-effectiveness

Have experience in subcontractor management, coordination, and adeptness in agreements with involved parties

Probably have an educational background at bachelor’s level within a relevant topic, e.g. PR, Marketing, Hospitality management, Event Management or similar though not a prerequisite

Have proficiency in using MS office suite

Master Danish and English at a professional level – verbally and in writing
