As a Governance Lead, you'll expand your network within Danske Bank Group, having an important part in strengthening our risk and product governance framework. You'll be at the forefront of risk-related decisions, promoting efficiency, and transparency. 

Our Governance team, part of the Business Control & Product Management (BCPM) function, is the first line of defense for our business segments. We safeguard products, processes, systems, data, and services, delivering value not just to our customers, but to society as a whole.

Shape Strategy, Drive Enhancement, Empower Stakeholders  

You will shape the future of Danske Bank by presenting comprehensive risk profiles, steering decision-making, and influencing top-level management practices. While being a catalyst for sustainable risk governance, your tasks will include: 

developing and implementing process enhancements that drive the evolution of our risk agenda  support the implementation of the Group Internal Governance Policy within the first line of defense, focusing on simplicity and continuous improvement  present a comprehensive risk profile to senior stakeholders for effective management practices  drive continuous enhancement in the risk governance agenda, shaping decision-making at the highest levels. 

You will also empower stakeholders with your expert advice on risk and product governance while leading the implementation of the Group Internal Governance Policy, all with a focus on simplicity and continuous improvement. 

Elevate Risk Governance with Your Expertise and Insight  

You will bring your expertise to the forefront with over 5 years of experience in risk, compliance, governance, or related fields. Your proficient perspective will be invaluable. You have: 

a fundamental understanding of the financial sector - ready to navigate the complexities of risk governance in a growing industry  a degree in economics, law, finance, or a related field - you'll bring a strong academic foundation to our diverse team  proficiency in English, which will aid effective communication across our global team. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is beneficial, assisting us maintain strong connections with our Nordic roots. 

If you have experience with operational risk management or Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, it's a distinct advantage, enabling you to drive strategic initiatives.
